| The Rocky Mountain Synod is one of 65 synods in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). This geographic area includes 182 congregations within the states of Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, Wyoming and El Paso, Texas. It is the largest synod, geographically, in the lower 48. Names and locations of our congregations are available as well as a listing of the synod's rostered leadership, which includes 401 ordained ministers, 30 commissioned associates in ministry, and 4 consecrated diaconal ministers. | Lutherans
