Congrats to Renzo, one of our youth, on being accepted into the Lutheran Summer Music Academy & Festival! 🎶
He has an amazing opportunity ahead, and we’d love to support him on his journey. As part of preparing for camp, Lutheran Summer Music encourages students and their families to fundraise. This not only helps make tuition more affordable, but also spreads the word about the program and inspires other young musicians to get involved.
Here’s a little about LSM: Lutheran Summer Music Academy & Festival is the nation’s premier faith-based music academy for high school students. In addition to advanced musical instruction and numerous performance opportunities, LSM students form an intentional community, living together for four weeks on a Lutheran college campus.
Great job, Renzo! We’re so proud of you!
Call for volunteers. As we get ready for the start of the new building project and demolition of the existing Nave, we are scheduling some dates to remove certain items that we want to salvage for reuse. This includes light fixtures, toilets, countertops, wood doors and trim, carpet etc. There will be work for all skill levels as we box up items, label them and store them.
Currently we are planning on working 5/15, 16 and 18 to start this process. There will be other work dates scheduled as we get closer to actual large scale demolition of the building by the General Contractor. If you have any questions, you can contact John Bosio. Fill out the form below to let us know you want to help, thank you in advance!
Important Notes for the Week!
Giving Statements for Building Hope for the Future will be mailed the week of April 27th to all givers with a remaining balance on their pledge. The official giving cycle will conclude on June 30, 2026. As we look toward groundbreaking and the beginning of construction, it is especially important for both our accounting and our financial planning that pledged gifts are completed on or before that date. If you need to adjust your commitment or extend your giving timeline, please reach out to Marie Glover, our campaign administrator, at maglover@lchope.org. She will be glad to assist you with any updates.
We’re looking for:
Large picture boxes in good condition (for storing paraments and banners)
Moving boxes and blankets
If you have any, please reach out to Greg@lchope.org
