Looking Ahead!

  • Before we gather for our very first Sunday of worship in our new space, join us for an Open House at BUMC on Saturday, 6/6 from 2–4pm! Stop by to explore the building, find parking, and learn where to enter before Sunday morning.

  • Join us at 3:15pm in the Chapel of the Crosses for a Short Prayer Service of Journey and then we will process to BUMC arriving just prior to worship at 4pm.   Folks can either park their cars at BUMC and walk over to LCHope prior, or park at LCHope and walk back after worship.

  • Below you’ll find two maps β€” one showing where to park and the other showing where to enter. These will be the designated parking and entrance locations while we worship at BUMC.

  • Broomfield United Methodist Church: 545 W Tenth Ave Broomfield, CO 80020 United States

Something to look forward to…

PScott will kick off a brand-new homily series as we begin worshiping at BUMC. You won’t want to miss it!

Important Notes for the Week!

  • Office closed June 8th: Because of the funeral on Friday and extended weekend ministry activities the office will be closed on Monday, June 8. Staff will be checking emails, however, but the office will be closed.

  • We recently received a thank-you note from Broomfield United Methodist Church, expressing their gratitude for our growing partnership in ministry. They specifically thanked Lutheran Church of Hope for helping fund a new computer, which will enhance their ability to livestream services from their chapel. We are grateful for BUMC's generosity in welcoming us into their worship space during construction and look forward to continuing this meaningful partnership.

  • PLEASE UPDATE YOUR SERVANT KEEPER ONLINE GIVING

LCHope is approaching the new fiscal year of 2026/2027 which starts on 7.01.2026.  Once your June gift is made, it is time to log in to your Servant Keeper Giving Account to update your Recurring Gifts.  Please make any changes needed to align with the amount you pledged during our pledge drive this spring for the General Fund and the "Passing on the Faith Pledge Fund".  Also, review your account for the method of payment including any new credit card codes & expirations dates are updated.  If you have set an end date for your gifts, make sure that the date is set correctly. If you have not setup Servant Keeper Recurring Online Giving and would like some help doing so, please contact Beth Bosio at finsec@lchope.org and she will help you do so.

Definition of Lutheran Church of Hope; Grace, Faith, Love, Community, Giving, Caring, Friendship, Believing.  Will this change that we all will experience be different, yes; will it involve alterations, yes; will there be transformation, yes; will we stop being Lutheran Church of Hope, No. Change is never easy but we, as a congregation, as a community, we got this and what will never change is the fact that we are a community, reaching out to serve one another and those in need.  As Lutheran Church of Hope navigates an important period of transition, please know that you are not alone. We are here to support one another in every way we can. Service hours will be later, we’re here to help, such as providing rides to those uncomfortable driving at night or assisting with online access to LCHope, YouTube, and other digital resources.

Reaching Out will continue to reach out but in a different way, here’s how. But first and foremost a BIG THANK YOU to Everyone who continues to give so generouslyβ€”whether through food donations, school supplies, Christmas gifts, winter accessories, books, stuffed animals, desserts, contributions to Anchor House, clothing, toiletries, and our monthly diaper and wipe drive and monetary, THANK YOU!

Starting in June at LCHope east side door we’ll have the yellow collection containers located outside Monday through Friday, from 10 AM to 3 PM during office hours and available for all mission donations.  Once a month, we’ll collect Diapers and Wipes for F.I.S.H. at the Methodist Church in the parking lot, available before and after service; look for open trunks and posted signs. Monetary gifts may be made using Servant Keeper, all proceeds go directly to the designated charity either as a monetary gift or items for the donated mission.

We’ll be collecting school supplies for APC June and July! The Reaching out team will be in the Methodist parking lot near the entrance before and after the service, look for open trunks and posted signs!

Photos of the week!

A new chapter begins! This week we moved into our temporary worship space at Broomfield United Methodist Church as we prepare for our first Sunday liturgy there at 4:00 p.m. Pastor Scott also chatted with BUMC's pastor for a quick podcast conversation about the move and what lies ahead.
