We're combining Days 3 and 4 into one update after yesterday's unexpected detour! First, we want to give a HUGE shout-out to the incredible kids. They have handled all the unexpected changes with such grace and flexibility, and they've been so thoughtful throughout it all. Their biggest concern yesterday was making sure Pastor Scott came first, and we're so proud of the care and compassion they've shown.

🚐 Day 3: Traveled approximately 340 miles + 200 miles to drop off PScott at MSP! We are praying for you, Pastor Scott!!
⛴️ Crossed Lake Michigan aboard the S.S Badger
⛺ Visited Camp Stony Lake, where our Director of Youth Formation, Thomas, spent many summers.
🏖️ Explored the Silver Lake State Sand Dunes
🍦 Stopped for a sweet treat at Whippy Dip Ice Cream

• 🚐 Traveled approximately 185 miles, plus the ferry crossing

💙 An LCHope Connection

Fond du Lac is the hometown of our very own Financial Secretary, Beth Bosio. Since Beth grew up worshiping at the Episcopal Cathedral there, we couldn't resist stopping for a photo on the cathedral steps. It was a fun way to celebrate one of our own while exploring another memorable destination on our Mystery Trip! The Bosios said “I Do” here nearly 51 years ago.

Today's mystery (day 4) took us on one of the most unique adventures of the trip! Instead of staying on the highway, our group boarded a ferry to cross Lake Michigan before exploring some of Michigan's most memorable stops. It was a day filled with beautiful scenery, and meaningful connections.
