Reaching Out
🥫 The Challenge Is ON! Starting Oct 4th and ending Nov. 22nd
Last year, you absolutely CRUSHED our fall food drive! Drum roll, please… 🥁 6,283 POUNDS! So now what??? Well… we have a new goal…This year’s challenge: 7,000 POUNDS! 🎯
This Sunday, look for the gray truck in front to drop off your donations. We’ll alternate between North Denver Cares Food Pantry and F.I.S.H. Please bring non-perishable food and toiletries only and check expiration dates. Diapers and wipes go to F.I.S.H. Weekday donations in the yellow bin at LCHope go to Anchor House.
📍 Sundays: Bring donations to BUMC
📍 Monday–Friday: Drop off donations at LCHope in Circle Dr. during business hours
Let’s see if we can beat last year’s 6,283 pounds and hit 7,000 pounds together!
Remembering Our Saints
As we prepare for All Saints Worship, we invite you to help us remember and honor the loved ones who have passed from this life into God’s eternal care.
During this special service, we will remember those who have died since November 1, 2025 with a slideshow featuring their names and photographs.
If you have lost a loved one during this past year and would like them included, please send:
• Their name
• A favorite photo(s) of them
Please email photos and names to kelly@lchope.org by October 12.

Cancer Care
Cancer Care Support Ministry will meet Thursday, October 1st at 7:00pm in the Fellowship Hall. Are you dealing with a cancer diagnosis, caregiving for a cancer family member or need support? Whether you donated, volunteered your time, showed up to help when we needed it most, attended the festival, spread the word, or simply cheered us on — you were a part of making this event so special. We truly could not do this without you. What started 11 years ago has grown into such an incredible community event, and we never in our wildest dreams imagined it would become what it is today. Seeing our church, our friends, our families, and our community come together year after year is something we will never take for granted.

Oktoberfest is so much more than two days. It is months of work, hundreds of helping hands, generous hearts, and a community coming together.
