Mary Patricia Jordan

June 21, 1927 - April 26, 2020

Mary was born in Denver, Colorado, the only child of Francis and Sarah App.

She attained a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Denver University in 1949. She was a life-long Catholic.

Mary was a saleswoman, fashion coordinator, advertising copywriter, then assistant to the advertising and publicity director.

Mary was married in March 1985 to Robert Jordan, Senior Vice President for Mountain States Bank in Denver. She retired that year from Buckhorn Petroleum.

Mary loved opera, theater, and reading. She also enjoyed time with her family, travelling, the Colorado Symphony, and the museums in Denver. She loved the Denver Broncos, Colorado Rockies, and anything in her favorite color: RED! Mary is survived by daughter-in-law Anna Jordan-Helser and husband Gregg Helser; stepsons Michael A. Jordan and Col. Thomas C. Jordan; two grandchildren Adam Robert Jordan and Lindsay Jordan Ayers; and great-grandchildren Devynn and Emmit Jordan, and Emory and Asher Ayers.
