CANCER SUPPORT GROUP
For cancer survivors and family members of cancer victims, this ministry meets once a month and is also active in Relay for Life each year.
CARING MINISTRY
Whether you need a meal, help transitioning to a new home, or just want someone to talk to, the caring ministry is here for you in your time of need.
CHURCH SUPPORT
There are a number of ways to help out with worship. After worship every Sunday, visitors are encouraged to join us for coffee and conversation, and fellowship time hosts prepare for that every week. We also have two members a month who provide home communion to the homebound due to illness or to members who are in a care facility. Another church support opportunity is the nursery, which provides a safe place for our littlest visitors during worship on Sundays, Wednesdays, and during special services.
CRAFTING
Volunteers from the congregation spend their time creating handmade items for the community - from birthday cards to baptism quilts and knit mittens. If you love crafts, this is a group for you!
SPECIAL EVENTS
The Loving Support tenet hosts special events throughout the year including picnics, potlucks, anniversaries, and other celebrations. Volunteers also help with funeral arrangements and wedding prep. Our biggest event of the year is Oktobeerfest, our community fall festival. We also host TAHILIGO, a combination of Talent Show (TA), Chili Cookoff (HILI) and Bingo (GO). The 30s/40s Group also gets together throughout the year.
