Scholarship Opportunities:
The Lutheran Church of Hope Scholarship has been generously endowed by church members who have, through gifts and memorials, established scholarship funds that provide financial resources to be awarded to full-time students each year. The value of each scholarship will vary according to the returns on the invested funds and the number of qualified applicants.
Application Procedure:
1. Applications are now available. Applications may be downloaded from the link or filled out below. You may also pick one up from the church office.
2. Completed applications, a letter of recommendation (optional) must be returned to the Scholarship Committee at the LCHope office by July 15. Additional paper may be used if more room is needed for any responses. It is most important that your responses are detailed and complete to help the Scholarship Committee better know you. Any questions should be directed to John Vialpando, the Scholarship Committee chairperson, at scholarshipofhope@lchope.org.
3. After reviewing all applications, the Scholarship Committee will contact all applicants by mail, email or phone.
4. This application is for one academic school year; however, a student may reapply in following years if qualifications are met. Students may only receive a total of four scholarships.
5. Payment of scholarship awards will be made directly to the recipient’s school.
Application Qualifications:
The applicant must be a member of Lutheran Church of Hope.
The applicant must be a high school senior through the junior level of any Post- secondary education or 4 years maximum for undergraduate degree, or vocational training at an accredited institution.
