News for the Week of October 30,2025
Don’t forget to “Fall Back!”
Daylight Saving Time ends this weekend! Be sure to set your clocks back one hour before bed on Saturday, November 2, so you arrive right on time for worship Sunday morning.
All Saints’ Sunday
After worship this Sunday at 11:00 a.m., Pastor Scott will offer a Blessing of the Columbarium Graves.
Then, at 12:00 noon, he will lead a Blessing of the Graves at Broomfield Commons Cemetery.
All are welcome to join for these times of remembrance and prayer.
Gale Ellen Nelson Liturgy of Resurrection
November 8, 2025 | 11 AM
Please Assist with Memorial Service:
As we prepare for Gale Nelson’s Liturgy of Resurrection on November 8th, please sign up to assist with the reception. We are requesting donations of salads and desserts and need kitchen assistants and servers as well. All of the details are on the sign up form.
Please join us in congratulating Greg Lowe, who was recently confirmed by our Board of Trustees as our Director of Operations/Executive to the Lead Pastor, officially removing the interim title.
“Greg jumped into the interim role feet first – has helped us make sense of a lot of things – we are pleased to welcome him on-board.” said PScott.
Congratulations Greg!

CAMP REGISTRATION!
Thinking About Summer—Yes, Already!
Even though fall is in full swing, I’m already looking ahead to Summer 2026! I’ve got lots of camp and retreat dates for you—some are just heads-up, others already have registration opening soon.
Camp has been a huge part of my faith journey, and I encourage everyone (yes, even adults!) to attend a camp or retreat. Since I’m not a Colorado native, I’ve included info not just for Rainbow Trail Lutheran Camp, but also for two other amazing Lutheran camps outside the state.
Rainbow Trail registration opens Nov 1, and spots go fast! I (and maybe Kelly) will be at Rainbow Trail for Intros, Juniors, and Confirmation weeks.
If you’re up for a farther adventure, my family usually attends Family Camp 2 at Camp Nawakwa (PA)—and we'd love to have familiar faces join us! Summer '26 will mark our 17th year there.
Thanks,
Thomas
Director of Faith Formation
Start spreading the news!!

“Our Christmas Concerts at Lutheran Church of Hope feature beautiful music performed by a 52-voice chorus and a chamber orchestra,” says Kenda Meyer, Director of Music.
Come and enjoy familiar Christmas anthems with a joyful twist!
This year’s donations will benefit Broomfield Mental Health Partners, Action Against Hunger, and Lutheran World Relief.
